| 2012 HK Sevens tickets |
Friday 23rd March to Sunday 25th MarchAPPLICATIONS TO PURCHASE TICKETSApplication to purchase tickets for the 2012 HK Sevens are now OPEN. Once we have collated the applications and balanced them against the Minis/Colts allocation, we will announce the distribution. Please be patient. Don't forget that you may negotiate with fellow FK members to buy/sell tickets through our forums.
GENERAL INFORMATIONThe popularity of this tournament continues to increase annually, and the allocation of tickets to local rugby enthusiasts continues to diminish (though 75% of Sevens tickets are sold in HK). The HKRFU has yet to announce the public sale through HKTicketing. Ticket allocation will be restricted to TWO per application.
The Club expects its ticket allocation for the 2012 event to be the same as that in 2011.
Ticket prices for 2012 are:
As before Child tickets may be in short supply. The child must be 12 or under on the first day of the Sevens.
LIMIT FOR TICKET APPLICATIONSRegistered members may apply for tickets as follows:
Note that some U14 families may have 12 year old players in nominal Youth groups; as far as we understand the rules, these players are still entitled to Child tickets.
ELIGIBILITY FOR NON-PLAYING MEMBERSNon-playing members may apply for a maximum of one ticket for each family member identified in the membership register. Non-playing members, and registered playing members who have not played rugby for a Flying Kukris team this season, are cautioned that the pool of tickets available for allocation to social members will consist of only those tickets remaining after all applications from playing members have been satisfied. Should this pool be inadequate to satisfy all of applications of non-playing members, a lucky draw will be held.
MINI’S AT THE SEVENSIf you wish your child to be considered to play at the ‘showcase games’ for U6 to U12s at the HK Stadium during the event we strongly recommend that you purchase a ticket (only three day tickets are available), as preference will be given to those children who have purchased a ticket when teams are selected.
