2010 HK Sevens tickets

Friday 26th March to Sunday 28th March

APPLICATIONS TO PURCHASE TICKETS

8 Nov 09 Application to purchase tickets for the 2010 HK Sevens are now CLOSED. Once we have collated the applications and balanced them against the Minis/Colts allocation, we will announce the distribution. Please be patient. Don't forget that you may negotiate with fellow FK members to buy/sell tickets through our forums.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The popularity of this tournament continues to increase annually, and the allocation of tickets to local rugby enthusiasts continues to diminish (though 75% of Sevens tickets are sold in HK). The HKRFU has announced (7 Oct 09) that the public sale of Sevens tickets will commence at 10am on 16 Jan 2010 through HKTicketing; at least 5000 tickets will be released. Ticket allocation will be restricted to TWO per application.

The Club expects its ticket allocation for the 2010 event to be less than that in 2009.

Ticket prices for 2010 will be:

Class Price HK$
Adult 1250
Child (12 or under) 300

As before Child tickets may be in short supply. The child must be 12 or under on the first day of the Sevens.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PLAYING MEMBERS

Registered members may apply for tickets as follows:

Minis players families A maximum of two(2) adult tickets + as many child tickets as registered Minis in family, e.g. family with two(2) minis players can apply for two(2) adult tickets and two(2) child tickets.
Youth players families A maximum of two(2) adult tickets + as many adult tickets as registered Youths in family, e.g. family with two(2) Youthplayers can apply for two(2) adult tickets + two(2) adult tickets = in total four(4) adult tickets.
Minis & Youth families) A maximum of two(2) adult tickets + as many adult tickets as registered Youths in family + as many child tickets as registered Minis in family e.g family with one(1) Youths and two(2) Minis players can apply for in total three(3) adult and two(2) child tickets.

Note that some U14 families may have 12 year old players in nominal Youth groups; as far as we understand the rules, these players are still entitled to Child tickets.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SOCIAL MEMBERS

Social members may apply for a maximum of one ticket for each family member identified in the membership register.

Social members are cautioned that the pool of tickets available for allocation to social members will consist of only those tickets remaining after all applications from playing members have been satisfied. Should this pool be inadequate to satisfy all of applications of social members, a lucky draw will be held.

MINI’S AT THE SEVENS

If you wish your child to be considered to play at the ‘showcase games’ for U6 to U12s at the HK Stadium during the event we strongly recommend that you purchase a ticket (only three day tickets are available), as preference will be given to those children who have purchased a ticket when teams are selected.
