A fun training on Sunday 5th February 2012 where we looked at the importance of communication and stages of play i.e. moving forward into space, with support, maintaining continuity and creating pressure on the opposition leading to scoring trys.

We also recalled the Big 5: tackle, ruck, maul, scrum and line out.

We also spoke about not losing possession in a maul including passing before contact or taking contact and recycling the ball through another phase (ensuring continuity) or if there is a tackle to "hit and spin" to try and gain yards after contact.

Next Sunday, 12th February 2012 is the Valley Fort Festival at Kings Park . Our games are:

15:30 DEA3 v FK

All our games are on Pitch 2C so let's meet next to Pitch 2C at 13:00 for warm-up.
